Well, started the day off right...rear ended someone this morning. That was drama. The truck in front of me was turning left at a three way intersection. I was going to turn right behind him. He pulled forward like he was going so I inched forward and looked over my left shoulder to see what was coming only to be abruptly stopped by the truck's bumper. He stopped and I didn't notice! Well, like a dumbass, he sped off into the intersection for some reason (taking part of my bumper and headlight with him)and then a brand new Altima slammed into the truck at 70 MPH. I couldn't believe what was happening! The front end of the Altima was totalled, the truck didn't look badly damaged, although it was a Toyota Tundra. It was so high off the ground I don't think I caused any damage...just the other car that hit them. I thought for sure someone was dead...but no, a Mexican family crawls out of the Altima and the driver bolts around to the other side while another guy came around and jumped in the drivers seat...Well, found out later when the cops finally arrived that the driver (which they found out who it really was) was illegal, had no license or insurance. I think the female passenger was putting a curse on me or something the way she was staring me down. To top all that off, the intersection was a junction between two cities and counties...one side of the street was Davidson Cty and the other was Williamson Cty. Davidson cty wanted to file mine but took too long to get there so the nice, and cute, Williamson Cty cop took all the info. Then when the Davidson Cty cop arrived they argued over jurisdiction. Oh, my gosh it was awful! Anyway, the cute cop won and filed things for me and I was on my way, leaving a path of distruction in my wake. Well the stress of that coupled with my illness has made me quite the grumpy and sickly person. I have to pull it together before Alex's Birthday party or I'm going to be in bed while everyone else parties. I have to make his cake tomorrow and frankly, I'm not feeling up to it. Got to hold together a little longer.
