Let's name all the unoriginal movies that have come out this year or that we've heard are coming out! This includes remakes of movies, television shows, "based on a true story", and based on a novel, etc. Basically, the plot isn't something a screenwriter sat down and wrote from his own imagination.

I want to see King Kong so badly! Although I like Naomi Watts, I don't think she is glamourously pretty like Fay Wray. I wish they didn't have Adrian Brody as the lead man...
I am so going to the midnight screenings of Dreamer and My Friend Flicka!!! (Both horse movies.) I love Kurt Russell (Dreamer), he's going back to his horse roots ("The Horse in the Grey Flannel Suit). Tim McGraw is starring in My Friend Flicka!!! How exciting. They're filming it now, but three horses have died already and animal rights groups are getting pissed. (The deaths were accidents, like one horse tripped and another escaped from his handlers and got hurt.) Hopefully it won't delay filming that much. I don't think it's being released until February 2006 or 2007. bah. But good things are worth waiting for.
I hope someone will make a Mr. Ed movie, that'd be so wonderful. I love Mr. Ed.
