I started my period earlier than all my friends too. I was inbetween gr.6 and 7 (so substancially later than you, but still ealier than all my girls). And i have always had killer cramps the day before i start and the day i start. we're talkin 48 hour bed rest cramps. BOOO. In grade 7, we were doing track and field, and i was training for the long distance runs. Well, one day, i was cramping as usual, and told the teacher i didn't feel well enough to run. At this point in time, no one knew that i had my period. One guy asked why i wasn't running, as i was taller than the other girls and ran with the guys. I told him i just wasn't feeling up to it. A girl asked a while later, and i told her the truth. I also asked her not to say anything to anyone. Did she listen? By the end of the next day the entire class knew, and they teased me mercilessly. I was almost in tears, when one boy said "HEY! at least ONE girl in our class is mature enough to have her period!" (thus starting a huge crush on this boy by my 12 year old heart). after that i didnt care who knew. i'm probably way too open with my boyfriend about it, info he doesn't need but will put up with cuz he loves me ;) heehee
I'll try to update more often...my past few weeks have been mental, with school and work, but i will try to post at least once a week :)
