[Prologue] ユビキリ (Pinky Promise)
Ahaha~ I managed to write the prologue within five hours of posting. (Is that sad? [Y/N])

Rating: K, because nothing objective really happens in this. Except for some foreshadowing, I guess.
Chapter: Prologue
Warnings: None. Unless you don't like Mion angsting. (Seriously, she never does. Ever. People who don't like everyone's most sane to-be Sonozaki leader angsting, then skip this plz.
My Comments: Personally, I thought this an okay prologue, but the ending STINKS OMG WHAT. Hopefully the next chapter will be better?
So, again... comments, CONSTRUCTIVE criticism and ♥ is always accepted. To set the record straight, I'll be doing the chapters in the game (i.e. I'll begin where the first chapter begins and end when it ends, and start chapter two.) Maybe I'll do some cracky omakes in it?

“Hey, oneesan! Oneesan!”
A small, green haired girl wearing a sky blue yukata ran across a grassy clearing to another girl who looked almost exactly like her, except this one was wearing a T-shirt and shorts while tending a handful of planted flowers.
The other girl looked up at the first one. “Yeah, Shion? What’s up? Is something the matter?”
The girl named Shion almost literally bounced on her toes from excitement. “Oneesan, oneesan, I have a idea, and you’re part of it!”
The other girl shaded her eyes from the sun to look at Shion directly. “An idea, Shion? Don’t tell me it has anything to do with repairing Mom’s robe or anything. You know I’m bad at those things.”
Shion shook her head. “Mion-oneesan, you know I wouldn’t ask you such a thing. What I wanted you to do was… make a promise with me.”
Mion’s eyebrows rose at the odd request. “A promise?”
Shion nodded anxiously. “A promise between twin sisters. A promise that we’ll always be together, no matter what Onibaba and Mom says!”
“But, Shion, I’ll be the leader of the Sonozaki clan. You… you won’t. You’ll still be exiled from the clan.” Mion looked sad and anxious at the same time.
“Don’t worry!” Shion waved this off as though Mion was worrying about the weather. “We’ll find some way. I’m sure.” She then knelt to the ground and held out her pinkie to Mion.
Mion just doubtfully looked at the pinky. “Shion, I hate to be the reasonable oneesan, but this sounds kind of silly. I mean, we can’t always be together, can we?”
“Maybe, oneesan, we’ll beat destiny. We’ll beat destiny and we’ll be together forever.” Shion looked so confident, Mion almost cried. Because Mion knew, no matter what, the two sisters would be separated when Onibaba died and Mion had to take over the seat to the Sonozaki clan.
All because of that stupid demon marked on her back. That demon marked that her destiny was already decided, and nobody could change it.
Shion, on the other hand, was free from destiny’s bonds. The black sheep of the Sonozaki clan, the outcast… she had no responsibilities of the Sonozakis, and the only reason she really hung around the Sonozaki house was to see Mion, her oneesan.
“Well, oneesan? Yes or no?”
Shion’s voice awakened Mion from her melancholic reverie.
Mion looked at Shion’s smiling, happy face. How could she say no to such a hopeful face? Instead of saying anything, pasted on a bright smile and stuck out her pinky. “Yes, of course! What would think I’d say, no?”
Shion’s smile brightened up immediately. “So that means… we’ll promise to always stay together!”
Mion returned the smile. This time, it was genuine. “Yeah. Of course.”
They hooked pinkies, swearing they would always stay together forever, despite what destiny may have in store for them.
Seven years later, their promise would be put to the ultimate test: Would you kill your twin sister, or die yourself?
