So McCain's education advisor is on. To paraphrase:
McCain wants to recruit the top of the graduating college classes to teach, because, quite frankly "colleges of education traditionally recruit the lowest members of any class."
Ohhhhh, ho:
I'm a loser.
"Those who can, do; those who can't, teach."
I don't understand why the top-of-the-classers don't want to go into education, what, with the generous salaries and cushy conditions that my "powerful teachers' unions" secure for me.
And Obama wants merit pay.
I've already covered that:
that winning strategy I have, i.e., my vocabulary root word unit -- that I inherited from a colleague -- well screw the rest of you: I'm keeping that to myself!
Sink.
More pay for me.
My friends say the two parties are a choice between crap and crap.
They pride themselves on recognizing the truth of things.
Well, I'll tell you a truth:
come November, it will be either Democrat or Republican, and, seeing as it's your America and your reality, not voting or voting for a party that has the snowball's chance is a cop-out.
There.
I said it.
ADDENDUM:
I have to downgrade my "truth" to a fact; see the concise review of the electoral system in the commentary below.
Again, there are several excellent comments that need addressing, and I hope to nail up clarifications/rebuttals/defenses by Saturday morning.
