Invisible Monsters - Chuck Palahniuk
There are those who like Palahniuk, and there are those who don't. I'm afraid I am among the latter. This book wasn't terrible, and I would have no problem recommending it if someone were interested in reading it and asked me about it, but I can't say that I enjoyed it. At least I can now say I've tried Palahniuk.
Looking for Alaska - John Green
I love John Green. His writing is zippy, believable, and often hilarious, while still treating some serious matter. What can I say? This is a man who never forgets to be awesome, and his writing reflects that.
