Yay, Christmas!
Welcome to the Christmas edition of getting to know your friends.
Okay, here's what you're supposed to do, and try not to be a SCROOGE!!! Just copy (not forward) this in its entirety and paste it into a new post. Change all the answers so that they apply to you.
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping paper, all the way.
2. Real tree or Artificial? I do love a real tree, but since I currently live in an apartment, if I manage to have a tree at all, it'll have to be a fake one.
3. When do you put up the tree? If it were up to me? December 1. That's the good thing about a fake tree, I suppose. My parents' tree, which for all intents and purposes is still the closest thing to "my" tree, goes up rather closer to Christmas.
4. When do you take the tree down? Sometime in January.
5. Do you like eggnog? No.
6. Favorite gift received as a child? Oh my god, I got so many awesome present. And still do. Maybe the dollhouse I hope to someday have room for.
7. Hardest person to buy for? Since I started working at a bookstore, pretty much nobody. You can find a book for everyone, even those who don't really read much.
8. Easiest person to buy for? Everyone. Who doesn't love books?
9. Do you have a nativity scene? Nope.
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail. Sometimes also email.
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Probably a cutesy kids' sweater when I was just past the cutesy kids' sweater age.
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? Muppets' Family Christmas.
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? When I get around to it.
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? No.
15 Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Root beer candy canes.
16. Lights on the tree? Duh.
17. Favorite Christmas song? I'm supposed to pick one? Seriously. You don't know me, do you?
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Parents' home.
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's? Santa's reindeer's what?
20. Angel on the tree top or a star? My parents have a very pretty angel. I'll probably go with something more star-like when it becomes an issue.
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Christmas morning. And afternoon. It's a very leisurely process with my family.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? The bad Christmas music. (Not to be confused with the good Christmas music, which I adore.)
23. Favorite ornament theme or color? : Theme-schmeme.
24. Favorite for Christmas dinner? Turkey and delicious gravy.
25. What do you want for Christmas this year? iPod Touch.
27. Who is least likely to respond to this? Everybody.
28, Favorite thing about Christmas? Everything. I heart Christmas. A lot.
