Pre-thought is a good thing
So I have a new content transfer project to work on, which is not as bad as the last one (which is not actually quite done yet - grrrrr), but I do wish that whoever builds the new template for these sites would just a take a few minutes to actually see how the site is currently put together - especially when we're duplicating, rather than redesigning - rather than just picking a set of headings and deciding that those should be the sections. Because it doesn't always work that way, and then it leaves me with a whole mess of jerry-rigging to try and do to get these things to fit into some semblance of sense. Or I have to just make more work for the guys by asking them to build me new sections. Which if they'd just built in the first place...
Sigh.
