I am so annoyed. After a long and tiring day at work, I headed over to the flower shop to drop off some stuff for my sister. This means that, instead of taking the nice bus that would get me home in 20 minutes to half an hour, I hopped on a 2. This part was not so bad, except that it forced me to endure half of an extremely annoying conversation. I say half because the other participants didn't feel they needed to yell everything they said so that the whole bus could hear about how their first fiance in their teens died in a car wreck, their second fiance left them at the altar, their fights with welfare and landlords, and the fact that one of them needs to get laid. Then I arrived at the store, only to discover that, unbeknownst to me, somewhere along the line, they changed their hours, and now close at 4. It was 4:10. So I head down to the 14 stop. It is worth noting that, walking toward the stop, even from right outside the store, I can see the street down which the bus goes, and I saw nothing. I arrived about 5 minutes before a bus was supposed to come by. And waited. And waited. And waited. More than half an hour. For a bus that's supposed to come every 15 minutes. Like I said, I could see the bus route while I was walking towards it, so either that bus didn't show up at all, or it somehow managed to be ridiculously early, despite the fact that traffic was crawling along at paces that would bore a snail. The next bus obviously didn't show up. So at this point I'm cold, I'm hungry, I'm tired, and I have to pee, and as such I am very disgruntled. Especially since all of this was for naught. For nothing, I got home an hour and half later than I could have. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

On the plus side, 4 more sleeps!
