Brenda's Life - Today
Yay, I finished my first draft of my website! I think I'll go in to school tomorrow and start building the actual site. I'm really excited about that. It'll make me feel like a smart tech geek... I don't think I want to know what it says about me that that prospect makes me happy... Maybe that I'm adored by a guy who likes geeks? Anyway, I expect that smart feeling will last right up until I run into some irritating problem that I can't figure out how to fix, and I'll have to wait until Tim's in on Monday to help. But whatever.
In other news, once again, people are idiots. We were supposed to show our apartment last night and again today. The guys last night got lost and couldn't find the place, and I have no idea what happened to the girls today. The probably got lost too. For some reason, an inordinate number of people seem to get lost on their way to our place. I don't understand why. It's not that hard to find. It's right off one of Halifax's major streets, and I tell people that there's a Canadian Tire and a TD Bank on the corner. They're pretty obvious landmarks. And the Canadian Tire is part of the Quinpool Centre, and everybody knows where that is. So I have no idea how idiots end up on North and Windsor, hopelessly lost. But whatever. Those two numnuts are supposed to try again next week, and if they take the apartment, I really don't give a shit how stupid they are.
And in more news, my parents are awesome. They sent me a puzzle I wasn't expecting them to send, because the intended transporter of it didn't work out. But I got a box yesterday, and I kinda guessed it was the puzzle, but when I opened the box, I also found my annual chocolate easter bunny! Woohoo! I love surprises.
