Welcome Back
Well, I haven't updated this journal in a while...
On the Forth I went up to Lake George. I haven't been there in so long. I went with a friend of mine, and we went to The Great Escape. I love water parks...they kick ass! I love checking out girls, and, oh yes, getting checked out...even though I'm kinda outta shape. Whatever. We got back after midnight, so I checked my e-mail and passed out. I got a pretty good burn too. I am peeling as I type this. Not too much though...Aloe Vera really does help.
The weekend was ok. I saw MIB II, which was a piece of shit. The cartoon before the movie was much better. Where have all the good movies gone?
I am getting kinda close to this one girl. She came over last night and...well, we had to keep rewinding the movie because we 'missed' large parts. She is cool, but I don't see anything long-term.
After I walked her home, I stopped in the tavern for a drink. I ended up staying there past closing, talking politics and military with two older veterans and the bartender. I swear, the really old guy nearly had his third heart attack yelling about how much the navy hates Powell, and other stuff. It was interesting. No one was too drunk to make sense...only on weeknights though! haha
