(no subject)
so things have been quite hectic lately. i moved into my new place in the heart of houston. im very happy with it. me and justin(my roommate) have already started to get all cozy and what not's. its definitely the most peaceful place i've ever lived. best sleep ive ever had.
so since i have more space in my room now, i bought new furniture. i've been in some need of an art table since i was 12, so i picked one of those up along with bookshelves for my books. also got a cool ass pet to keep me company while i draw.
and time for my SHANE DIGGIN'S update...
MOVIES
Fido :: saw this today. had me cracking up all the way through! a total satire on lassie and other cold war films but with ZOMBIES. some really classic moments, as well as some sweet ones. definitely a breath of fresh air.
Fantastic Four 2 :: i was pretty happy with this film. im one of the few that liked the first, so this was a pretty good improvement. dr.doom was a complete disaster, but the surfer made up for it. i also loved how they did galactus. i dont care what you guys say.
Spider-Man 3 :: biggest disappointment ever.
Vanishing Point :: i've been meaning to see this for a good while, and i was pretty happy with it. i was definitely expecting more crazy car chases and not a deep story, but it still paid off. some really good symbolism in here, plus a freakin challenger!
Knocked Up :: probably going to be the best comedy of the year, superbad could change that. apatow never disappoints! im eager to see what he's gonna do next. this movie had as much sweet moments as it did funny. i would actually recommended it as a date movie, despite it's raunchy humor. seth rogan is the man.
Pirates 3 :: pretty good. could've been cut an extra 20 minutes, but was actually pretty decent.

so ive been getting back to old routines, now that im comfortable in my new place. here is the cover for the second book coming out next summer. i added some mock-up text to see what it'd look like in the end. i definitely think it works alongside the first book.
i've also added some photos of my new room.
