(no subject)
Hello Christmas Eve
TOTP2 on in the kitchen just now,waiting for a dose of Queen they promised but also to see some of the other vaugue 'oldies'. Mud is on just now... so that's why I'm here. Harr
I have had some Bailys already,so I am feeling a little bit too happy... although I should feel naturally happy as it's Christmas Eve + I am. The Funky Gibbon *laughs* Jaynemee is over too. Brought with her a selection presents; 3 for me :) One... she actually admitted she wants herself so I can't wait to find out what that is
So on holiday for two weeks say now... YARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
Though two weeks is never enough to enjoy,to compose a piece,to practise clarinet + piano and do a few essays but who fusses about that just now? I mean... I CAN SLEEP! In a room I have now tidied this day. Well; you can walk on the floor at least
Why is Christmas supposed to be so exciting? When people are teengagers though,the thrill of everthing about Christmas seems to go out the window; but it was only a few years ago... say three... that I couldn't sleep because I was excited. It's the presents but surely that can't be the most prominent drive,can it? Santa when you are a lot younger... but Santa brings the presents? At this stage we're almost emotionless when it comes to Christmas because we're not that little bit older to go and buy presents or cook the dinner or the fact... that we actually enjoy the company of our family (although I always have... manly alchohol related stories) However,no one woudl agree that you should spend Christmas with your freinds... because no matter how grumpy or sad you are... Christmas always brings you together. See... think of that purpose now. About what Christmas could really mean
