Checking in Right Quick
Let's see, yesterday was my official post-sickness debut. After being out of it for almost a week I ventured out and had an excellent day with friends. Crepes for brunch and then going to see In Bruges at the Hillcrest (both were very enjoyable). Extra points for having Mad Eye Moody vs. Voldermort in In Bruges with Voldermort's character's name being Harry.
From there it was off to the Hole where I abstained from booz and just did theraflu thin strips instead. Pizza Explosion after was mighty nice. Sure felt good to be back with the guys even if I wasn't 100%. I'm not really sick now, I just have a little left over nasal congestion to remind me of what a lovely time I had last week being full on sick.
Saturday was a WoW geek fest and man I had such a good time. You know yer hooked on a game when you think about it before you fall asleep (yup, I had Eonar Clan of the Geek Bear Blood Elves on the brain as I drifted off). I also watched Across the Universe (bought a copy) and enjoyed it even more than I did in the theater.
Today is my first day back to work and it's gone well. I'll work tonight at PECS and just hope that my bod keeps up.
Today is also
bearxxl's birthday and to take the time to wish him a happy one would be just a small gesture that I'm sure he'd appreciate. We'll be having some of the 619ers by the bar at 9pm to help celebrate should you like to take part.
