Hmmm, I'd like to do a big flashy splashy post but I don't think it's gonna go that way.
typeractivity was in town this weekend so I didn't read any LJ at all (his visit and wanting to steer clear from Cloverfield info equally contributed). Anyhow, I had a real nice visit with John and was glad he could make it down. It was a wiz-bang weekend with
rugbybearpa and
tattooedbear in town too. Having ZnR in the 619 was like having GnR play Appetite for Destruction in yer backyard in 1991 - yes - it fucking RAWKED!
The boys had plane issues on Thurs so they didn't get into SoCal 'til Friday.

jpinsd, and I used that as an excuse to get drunk - and we did. The next day me and Matt road tripped it to the OC airport by way of Long Beach (oops) to pick up the Philly boys and that was a nice way to get things started - no, the twin 90 year old circus chicks in black leotards practicing moves outside of the airfield was actually more perfecter... no really...
I picked up John after having some eats with the boys (
sluggobear joined). John and I hung out some with
rrumm and played Wii (Super Mario) and then went to the party at MnM's... Good times - many many people including
funbearsd who was in town. We stayed a long while and then went home to crash.
Saturday was crepes with the boys, YogArt, a walk, really really good food at Urban something or other with Kevin and Michael and
bigkid and Rob, but then also Lego Star Wars, wine, and the pretty darn bad Hot Rod on HDppv.
Sunday was breakfast and a nice drive and HOLIDAY HOLE and PIZZA EXPLOSION and pecs and falling apart...
Monday was lunch and Cloverfield (which was awesome) with bears, sushi, In Rainbows Disc 2, and John getting really really lucky with his flight out of town thanks to SouthWest Dave - Yaay!
Monday was also work at the bar but that's a different post that I'll post.... well, differently (and later).
