Greetings from Provincetown, MA

So here I am, sittin' on my bed in our house on p.town. It rained earlier and that sorta changed our plans of going to the bear beach day. But in a way I'm glad cause I'm diggin' just sitting and just relaxin' a bit away from the crowds and minus the alcohol (at least for a few hours). The first few days have been crazy as to be expected.

After an afternoon of hanging in Boston on Friday we got on the fairy and headed to town. Enjoyable boat ride followed by a stacked cab ride over to the Best Western. We didn't waste much time. Walked over to the Boat Slip for drinks and socializin'. That lead to a late night dinner before we decided to play it smart and get to bed before midnight since 7-7-7 was gonna be such a big day.

We dropped out bags in the rental house (which rocks) and got breakfast at the Post Office Cafe (tasty). From there we headed back to the house while taking time outs to meet folks and give out invites to our party. Man, having the party was such a good idea. I'm the kinda guy who appreciates having a reason to go up and talk to hot guys... hehe. Anyhow, we spent a lot of 7-7 shopping and getting the house ready. We went to Tea and passed out a few more invites before coming back to the house around 6:30. Our first guests arrived at about 7:15 and they seemed a little perplexed to be the only ones here. But within 30 minutes they were joined by about 20 other people and within an hour the house was packed (inside and out). I'm not gonna name the LJers who didn't make it (y'all know who you are) but thanks to those of y'all that came out and had some fun with us. Was such an excellent time. From the party we went over to hear Peter from UT spin. Great set, a few more drinks, and good times.

Yesterday Jeff and I took a walk around the town before going to Tea again. I didn't drink quite as much (well, it took me half the day just to recover from the night before). For the night we just sorta wandered a bit, hit some of the bars - nothing huge. Ran into a nice group of SF guys (Noel, Scott, Troy and friends). Good times.

So here's a few shots from our adventures so far. You can see more of 'em on my Flickr Page too.

Cheers!

friends, good times, trips, provincetown
