booddhabear sent me his photos from Disney on Sunday and I posted 'em to my flickr page. You can click on the image here to see 'em all along with my new high score on Buzz Lightyear. I should say that my sister could not stop talking about how much fun she had in line with me and Chris. I guess I just forget how much fun the folks in my life tend to be and it was actually one of the first times in a long while that Liz got to see me just being me with one of my friends. I know she enjoys being silly/campy too and Josh was lovin' it (even if he had to keep quiet - it's one of the requirements of being cool and 16).
I didn't mention it in my other post, but my nephew was all about Kelly. I played him (and my sister) "
Shoes" while we were driving to dinner and he wanted to hear it again and again. Then I played them "
Txt Message Break Up" and again, he was all about it. I sent them the links to
Liam's YouTube site today as well as links to
Teen Girl Squad. The Gay Agenda on the move.
[Update] Just got an email from Liz that made my day... They went back to Disney on Monday and had fun... she's back at work tomorrow. Last bit of the email quoted here:
I am soooo glad we got to see you some. Next time you have to devote 24 hours though. I wont take less! My kids are crazy about you and so am I. Have a great week! Love, Lissy
Note to Self - Spend more time with yer family you dummy!
I've been talking with my buddy Scott about his quest for an iPhone. He's going to stake out a spot in LA Thursday night or Friday morning. He even has a handy Google Maps survivor guide for staking out a phone in LA. I'm impressed with his dedication. He'll be coming up Sat to hang out for a couple days (this is Scott who is Hot but who is not Hot Scott who I had dinner with before the Fratellis show a few weeks back). Anyhow, will be good to see him and even gooder (!) to touch his iPhone.
Speaking of... did you see
s2dbaker's posting of
the NY Times review of the iPhone? It's awesome. Gave me total geek wood and also alerted me to a few of the downsides of the phone itself (but mostly it was up, up, up - Apple really does have a gift for keeping the "wow" alive). They also posted their monthly plans (or i should say AT&T did). 200 txts a month standard? No way!
And one last iPhone related item (which is nuts since I have no plans of owning one) - here's a bit from a few months ago that I missed but thought was pretty damn funny. I told my co-worker that the guy in the sketch is gay and he got all giggly...
