Let's just say that going to work when you still have a cold sorta sucks. But I had a lot to do, and meetings to take part in, so I'm glad I went. I did bale early because I felt like just so much warmed over crap.
In a meeting today one of the PS guys agreed with the head of PS to actually *gasp* implement a page sniffer that checks for users who are on MACs to give them a soft and friendly "we don't support poor people or MACs" message. Victory! Hopefully we can get this introduced across the board to save folks who don't read the trouble of yelling at us (6%, but a very vocal 6%). They also talked about having browser/OS sniffers on one of our other products and implementing it sooner rather than later. This, again, is huge. One of the main issues we deal with daily is refunding users who are trying to access content while not having a system that meets the requirements. Reading is hard - werd.
