Let's see...
Last weekend was fun. I went out and got trashed on Saturday and enjoyed hanging at the bar with friends - it had been a while.
Monday night at the bar went well. Had a decent crowd and John, Alex, Dan, Chip, and Rob were all in the house. Ben and Adam brought by their house guest Damien from St. Louis - hotty! - so that made the night go by a lot quicker. Damien bartends out East and he had a few new shots to show me.
Work has been nuts this week in terms of getting reports done, scheduling, staff changes, event planning. But in a lot of ways, it feels good to truly be busy and have projects and tasks with recognizable goals.
I saw Spiderman 3 last night with a bunch of the bear guys including the newly returned to town in one piece (more or less) Mikey. So, as far as the movie goes I liked it until the last 45 minutes. They tried way too hard to tie it all up in a nice, neat package. The dance and butler scenes were probably the two worst scenes I've seen in any legitimate movie in the last 5 years. Laughable and embarrassing - embarrassed for the production team for thinking this was a good way of moving the plot along (and don't give me the "it's comic book - it's supposed to be over the top" BS). And I love the theme of forgiveness - but did you notice that no one forgave anyone until they had evidence to persuade them? So much for faith. So yeah, not as bad as a lot of you have said - but the weakest of the three without a doubt.
This weekend it's all about bears and birthdays. Chris and Dan will be in town and it's Jeremiah's B.Day party on Friday and Joe's on Saturday. The weather has been exceptional so hopefully it'll hold up through the weekend. I'm up for a trip to the HOLE on Sunday for sure. Cocktail is back as of tonight so it's fucking on!
garycotti sent me this today - be careful, your eyes might roll back into your skull to the point of no return. Let's try and figure out when exactly being a bear jumped the shark... Any guesses?
I joined pollstar. I'm committed to not missing another opportunity to see Muse or Radiohead live ever again.

Both Heroes and LOST were awesome this week with points going to LOST for having a quality flashback that answered a lot of questions (and as always, asked new ones). Love love loving this show...
I'm officially strung out on WoW.
I finally got to play two player on my Wii.
rrumm came by on the weekend and wii fucked some shit up w/ Wii Play and then scorched the courts with some intense tennis action.
Had heard of this before, but
