sorry, I never got around to post anything after my ring*con report. Now it's almost 4 weeks later so I am not really going to post another one. But things changed since then and I am so god-damn lucky at the moment, I am smiling all day long.
Yes, after Ring*Con some people I met told me to sign up at myspace. So I did and thought this would be just like Livejournal (with a little difference). I've been there for 4 weeks now and I've been through exciting times now *g* First up-some of the RingCon guests/stars just like Mark Ferguson and Isaac Singleton are on myspace aswell (and yes, it is them, no imposter, it's official). You can write messages to them but for example Mark does not really reply I got told. But this somehow doesn't count for me. It started when I wrote him to thank him for the workshop. That was the first time he replied and told me that he of course remembers me, the tall brunette with the long hair blabla..this has been 3 weeks ago..we kept writting..last week he wrote me "blabla kind thoughts from such a beautiful girl are always appreciated"..and today he said "blablabla, (random things), Simi, feel free to talk to me about anything anytime"..we've been mailing for a while now and talked about a lot of different things which is great..he's so lovely and the fact that people usually get no answer makes me even prouder..let's see where this all leads to and it will be like at next Ring*Con hehe..somehow my whole view of Mark changed...
now secondly Isaac..we've been staying in contact aswell and he's telling me fun things..CRAZY WORLD really..this is like therapy, talking to all those guys..haha..
BUT thirdly (now it gets really intresting)..I've met this guy on myspace like 3 weeks ago. I randomly added him as friend. He's 27 and from Auckland, New Zealand. He's a chef and got a restaurant in Auckland and at the moment he's working with a 3 star chef in Munich for a couple of weeks. We started mailing and got along so well and he asked me out for dinner. Now before I start blablabla: fact is this guy is on the way to become a super cool chef in Auckland, he's been cooking for the LOTR cast and knows some of them pretty well (ehm, when he asked me if I know Craig Parker I was a little bit like "EHm, yes, ehm, yea I think so"..yepp, he knows him and he's just been on a party with Craig 4 weeks ago, MADNESS). WELL, we'll see where that leads us to, he's already invited me to Auckland and someone else has aswell so..I don't know how or where this ends and I can't tell you more at the moment but I'd love to fly to New Zealand soon *g*. It's not a matter of the costs because flight tickets to new zealand aren't that expensive anymore but I am not sure what to do at the moment..
ehm so yeah, now you know what I've been up to and why I am a bit overly-excited these days ;-) sometimes life's getting very weird...a kiwi in munich is all I am going to say..I keep you updated
