I knew it was coming, them breaking all kind of relationship, I was expeting it to be about sth more... meanful though. A part of me wants to think that that was too rushed and too out of nowwhere, but Morgana has been always been show as a rather self-centered character and even more this season with her drifitng away (as even away from the screen LOL!) so another part of me, says it makes sense that Morgana decided Uther was going against what she cares and pff pff couldn't seen behind that and realize he might had a point in this particular ocassion.

More meaningful indeed! It makes no sense that she would let Uther condemn her dear friend and physician GAUIS to death without a protest or finally reaching breaking point, when he was INNOCENT and had served for so long (and when she had protested the much less drastic sacking of him) but Uther executing a sworn enemy who is in no way innocent is what does it for Morgana? Especially after she was first driven off the edge last season by Uther killing someone she knew and cared about? It just makes NO sense whatsoever--one more characterization!fail in this season of OOC-ness...

In short, it WAS rushed and out of nowhere, given we've seen almost no conflict between Morgana and Uther this season to justify her suddenly breaking like this....and I disagree that Morgana is rather self-centered...:/ She is constantly standing up for those wronged by Uther, and her loved ones....or at least she did last season, I'm kind of ignoring all of the OOC!characterizations this season...

exactly at the fisrt part.

About the second, yes, I do agree she cares, and i think when she remembers now she still does, but I think from the beginning there always a "me" into her thoughts, specially after herdiscovering her magic. I don't blame her, but she always kind of acted without thinking much on the consecuences. (IDK. see 1x12, or 2x03 where she says she is not going back. she needs so much to feel good herself thatshe ends up forgetting all that she cares, like... leaving people to die). I do love the Morgana that cares for people, but I do think there's this little thing that when it affects her she becomes a bubble and the rest doesn't matter, does it make sense? like, she can't really think and reason when it's about her. I meant it in that way...¿

I can see that....I do think she was primarily motivated by her personal hurt at Uther in 1x12, that he had thrown her in the dungeon (the look on her face at the last minute there!) and by some resentment at the belief that he had been responsible for her father's death....

2x03 though as I said before doesn't count for me though, because it's season 2, in which she seems to have pretty much no spine, and in which so many characters are acting out-of-character...;)
