The weather's getting chillier. I can't say that I approve.
It's been a wild and crazy few weeks since getting laid off at the tax centre. One shift a week at Pet City allows me plenty of time to enjoy the final half of my last undergrad summer, which I've been doing with great fervor. Countless nights of drinking and consumption of other toxins, parties and more parties, and many a driving expedition for no real reason, and I still find plenty of time for my inner geek, with the conclusion of one D&D campaign and the beginning of another, purchasing plenty of D&D paraphrenalia, rampant downloading of video game remixes (I think it's almost all I've listened to for three weeks in a row), and many a day set aside for video game completion.
On the subject of the end of summer, my final four undergraduate courses have been successfully applied for. This fall, you'll find me in:
- BUSI 1000: Introduction to Business
- BUSI 1101: Principles of Accounting
- ECON 2020: Intro Macroeconomics
- SPAN 1001: Elementary Spanish II
I got a bit of a fright today when I called to inquire about convocation. I'd been informed before that, if one completes their undergrad requirements in the fall, they convocate in December or thereabouts. When I asked about fall convocation, I was told that it occurs in October and the deadline for application was in mid-July. Until she told me that I'd be attending spring convocation, I was a little freaked. Luckily, I've got 'til January 15th to apply.
I was hoping to join in the
zombie marching tomorrow afternoon, but the site doesn't actually indicate what time the march begins. Noon? Three? Ugh. While I wouldn't mind being a shambling horror for a few hours, I require more organization from a zombie army.
