Food of the world

One of the really great perks of travelling the world on a regular basis is the opportunity to completely ruin any sort of diet and put on stack loads of weight.

Anyway, here is a selection from recent races:

Sushi in Tokyo - This was by far the best sushi I've ever eaten. There are various grades of tuna and all of it was serously tasty. The orange thing is a sea urchin or something. That had the strongest flavour of the sea that I've ever tasted.

This was Unagi, which is a type of fried eel. It tasted completely different to what I expected, but with the sashimi and other sides, absolutely delicious. The thing in the top right corner was jelly, but not normal jelly. It was an espresso but in jelly. Weird.

Me!

The espresso jelly.

I love the hawker centres in Singapore and street sellers in Kuala Lumpur. If you are ever in KL I seriously recomend going to Jalan Alor as you'll have the best seafood and streetfood on the planet.

This was in Singapore at one of the hawker centres. I didn't try the pig organ soup this time!

Fried fish in singapore. This was red snapper done sweet and sour style

Sambal King Prawns in Singapore. Delicious, one of my favourite dishes.

Singapore style seafood noodles. It looks bland but is fantastic.

Satay, a great starter.

Fried seafood in Monaco.

I'm in Korea at the moment and haven't been out yet, but will be going to a Korean barbeque later on this week.
