start of the week
This morning’s drive to work proved to be frustrating. Lots of people our on the road that have too much aggression and are in too much of a careless hurry. The picture of this car was taken by Christina with my camera phone. The camera isn’t the greatest but here is a picture of the car that a crazy woman driver that was driving dangerously. She was tailgating really close and tried to get over several times. Each time that she did, she was slowed down or cut off by another driver. Too bad that I couldn’t get a good picture of the face. I just let these people pass. I don’t want to risk an accident because of someone like that. There are two more pictures of offending vehicles after the jump.
I predicted Friday that ‘V for Vendetta’ would bring in $24.3 million. The actual box office gross was $26.1 million, which gives me a 93% prediction accuracy rate.
Our inept President Bush discussed the third anniversary of the War in Iraq Sunday by publicizing his efforts to force democracy while delicately avoiding mentioning any of the daily and deadly violence that rages on. Three years after he invaded Iraq to find our weapons of mass destruction (which we still haven’t found) we have 2,600 of our American troops dead. May our troops and other innocent civilians that have paid the ultimate sacrifice, rest in peace.
This war must end. Too many of our people and innocent civilians living in war zones are dying and it looks like no solution is in sight. How many more have to die?
