Happy Saint Patrick's Day (part 2)

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Read more about it here from Wikipedia.org

‘V for Vendetta’ opens up at 3,365 theatres today.  I predict that the weekend total will be $24.3 (millions)  A new trailer for ‘Poseidon’ has been released.  This one looks really good, there are some intense shots of the boat capsizing and everything inside being turned over.

Where’s Samuel L. Jackson when you need him?  He’s fighting snakes on a plane.
He just lost every bit of coolness that he ever had.  Watch a trailer of his new movie ‘Snakes on a Plane’ coming to theatres soon.  Yes, that’s the real name of the movie, folks.

I’m trying to figure out why Jessica Simpson is such a star that she would be asked to host some stupid fundraiser for the GOP .  The sub-par singer and greasy-pizza spokesperson only starred in a lousy remake of ‘The Dukes of Hazzard’ and had her own ‘hit’ show ‘Newlyweds’  And yet she seems to be the talk of the town.  I just don’t get it. Crybaby Tom Cruise cried foul and got Comedy Central to pull it’s Wednesday airing of the ‘Trapped in the Closet’ episode from South Park or else he would stop promoting MI:III.  (Comedy Central is owned by Viacom, which is owned by Paramount)  Of course, these big studios only care about the bottom dollar so they gave in to his demands.  Shutter away good art and writing to please some pansy-ass Scientologist like Cruise.  He’s a so-so actor who has never been nominated for an Oscar.  He’s not smart, doesn’t make logical decisions and isn’t that great of a person.  I don’t understand why people love him - it’s probably fat, middle aged women that are the core of his fans.

Hollywood is fucked.  Celebrity justice, celebrity marriages, celebrity fuck-ups.  And the American public forgives them and loves them.  All the wrong people are stars and the crap they produce is turning people off.  Maybe they will finally get the hint but it’s hard to tell when you have movies such as ‘Snakes on a Plane’ being produced.
