Monday was very hot - 94° outside and humid. When we got home from work, I watered the rosebush and plants out back. When I was stepping inside the house, I noticed a black beetle-like insect that snuck in. It was moving very fast toward the couch where there is a ton of hiding places for a bug. I knew that this thing had to be stopped ASAP. As soon as I took off my sunglasses, I realized that this was no beetle. In fact, it wasn't an insect at all. It was a HUGE black scary-ass spider - it was unlike any other spider I have ever seen. I was creeped out the rest of the evening.
