car and pictures

Yesterday, a worker in another department was hit by a vehicle while crossing Canfield.  The guy was alright, he landed on the driver's hood.  The driver failed to stop at the crosswalk and left the scene of the accident.  I'm just glad that he's O.K.

I turned in my CD for the professor last night.  One of the students took photos of his mailbox, roof and socks and all of them were out of focus.  Three other girls went to the Heidelberg Project and they virtually all had the same shots.  Their pictures were interesting, unfortunately none of them were very dramatic like the assignment required.  Another person took a picture out their car window - this was a poor decision because it made a bad picture.  Our professor didn't seemed to be too impressed with these people but he gave Christina and I good reviews and encouragement.  Many other people turned in photos that did not accurately represent the dramatic point of view and seemed like very little time was invested into the project.  'Wolf' (as he calls himself) kept blabbing the whole time trying to be the class funnyman and it's really annoying.  His photos sucked anyways, probably because he doesn't have the mobility to get into positions that would make a good shot.  Only three more projects to go!

Today, I had a customer that wanted a poster designed but failed to give me any sort of page-set up size.  If you need something to fit in an exact space, I must know what the exact dimensions are.  I don't work at this particular building this will be at.  How hard is it to get a ruler/tape measurer and measure the space?  You cannot tell someone "not too small" or "not too big" and expect them to know exactly what they are talking about.  Ugh.

class, recap
