The past few days Simon and I have been staying at his parents to look after Trixie while they've been on holiday. I've really enjoyed looking after her - she's not exhausting like i found Ethel to be (tiny dogs don't need so much walking, or as much strength to keep them from running off!), and she's so affectionate and silly in her own way.

I've spent the past few days with Simon staying at SJ & Pauls to look after Ethel (the puppy) and Frank (the cat) while they were away. They live near Skegness so we've spent a lot of time there.
Big hefty puppies are exhausting. Ethel needs HOURS of walking, tugs you over if you're not on your guard, and insists upon chewing/chasing everything/ ( Read more... )

I'm back from my dads. I really like his new home. I felt comfortable and at home there. I am glad he's moved because his/our old house was hard to go back to - it was heavy with memories (not neccessarily bad ones, though there were those, but the happier memories are hard too). It was time for our family to move on.

My first day at work went well.... kinda. At least i didn't have an anxiety/depressive freak-out. However physically my body is not that keen on being on my feet for hours. A combination of exhaustion, lack of sleep (yay anxiety), lack of food (underestimated quite how much breakfast i needed) and ridiculus humidity made me ill. I could barely walk ( Read more... )
