That's It

I need a haircut.

...Or at least for Tim Burton to cast me in his next movie.

Long day yesterday. 3 hour, very productive Producers meeting. We're going with The Workshop Theater, so that'll be nice. Gonna be a LOT of money. Eeek.
Laughed ourselves silly trying to come up with a portmanteau name for "Small Pond Entertainment", "Theatre of the Expendable", and "Cross-Eyed Bear Productions"... Small Bear and the Expendable Ponds?

Then met up with Kathleen & Chris for our rehearsal for Kathleen's one-page play. Even looser than the rehearsal for mine. That was fun. We met at Stillwater, the bar across the street from KGB bar and the Kraine Theater, where we used to go all the time when we were doing Iolanthe. I don't think it was Stillwater then. It seems a tad more upscale, at least food-wise.

Then headed over to 45th Street Theater for the Dress Rehearsal of Avow. Pretty good show. Some interesting material (it's about two Catholic Gay guys who want to get married in their church) Joy Franz is hilarious, and nails the comedy in every scene she's in. Bill C. Davis was actually there (he's kinda hot).
Bunch of people I knew there- Franca, Paul S., Lanny, Chris S... Met David M. for the first time, after being near him for ages (and in fact reviewing him in some Gilbert & Sullivan). Also a group of High School Drama Geeks to fill out the audience.

After it was over, hung out a bit, then headed over a block to meet Tony outside of ITH (haven't seen him in a while- lots of understudying going on last week, so he was exhausted all the time). It's fleet week, so the streets were full of seamen.
We got a drink at DTM Lounge (we were the only ones there, though the piano bar side was PACKED), then went to the bowling with Broadway people. Tony arrived late, so missed the first game, so we just hung out at the bar till it was his turn. Saw Ryan Duncan (he sends his love, ceebeegee and said you should call him), who was bowling with his show.

And, haven't done this in a while... Thanks, jasereraser
