Morning

Went into the city and met with Arol, who gave me the copies of Suckers and the submission forms he'd printed out for me. We chatted at Starbucks for about an hour about all kinds of theatre stuff. He also pointed out that the postal office I'd planned to go to was closed on Saturdays, and looked up on his Magic Slate (which he called a Blackberry) where the closest one was. I plan to cast him as Elvis in Suckers, and he's very excited at the prospect that it will be done in June, as part of Planet Connections.
Also, we were talking about Ore, or Or, and he pointed out that the use of homophones is a frequent source of humor in Japanese culture, so my title is even more appropriate than I thought.

Got my TRU copy of Suckers mailed out. Have to wait till my check clears on Tuesday to mail out the Planet Connections submission, but that's fine, since the deadline on that isn't till the 15th. BAM

Was going to meet up with Tony, but he'd forgotten that Peter's family is in town today, and they had to go meet with them (and Tony has 2 ITH performances today anyway).

Forgot to mention we have a cat now. Amanda got it, New Year's Day, from a friend of hers who was trying to find a good home for it. I still haven't seen it, since it's been hiding under the couch every time I go past (he has come out to use the litter box, we know).
His name, I was told, is "Tucks", and I'd understand why when I saw him. I was puzzling about that for a bit, till I realized she must have meant "Tux", and he's a black-and-white kitty. I shall see if my hypothesis is correct when I meet the feline in question.

Plan to stay home today and get some cleaning and other stuff done.

And this is kind of nonsensical:

In 2009, king_duncan resolves to...
Ask my boss for a wicked.
Drink four glasses of desiderata every day.
Take evening classes in guster.
Go to the short guys every month.
Go skinnydipping three times a week.
Find a new ska.

planet connections, suckers, play applications, tru, ore or or, in the heights
