Brian is sick and won't be able to do my reading of The Starship Astrov tonight, but my wonderful brother darksheik is coming in to read the role, and he'll be great!
I've signed up, per Mike Birbiglia talking about it, for Google Alerts with my name. It's marvelously effective- I've already been notified about the posting of the Fab Marquee article, and just now about carasol's review of Glimpses of the Moon (which references mine).
Jim Allen's 20th anniversary of working at Marie's is this Thursday (actually Friday at Midnight, but the party's Thursday). Going after Drunken! Careening! Writers!
Just submitted Eternity: Time Without End for Phare Play's new season. It would be interesting to see another company do it.
Watched a lot of Titus this weekend. I have all three seasons on DVD. Now, when I own a large collection of a TV show like that, I like to skip an episode in my initial viewing, so that when I go back to watch them, I can be surprised at a "new" episode. I somehow managed to miss an entire disc of Season 1, so I had 5 new episodes! Score!
And I have to say, best "Hide Your Pregnancy" ever- they gave Erin a broken leg, so she was in a wheelchair with a purse in front of her stomach through most of the end of Season 2.
Wayne sent out to his e-mail list, and the opening was "Great job on being an awesome country* on Nov 4th!"
