Hey, can you see this Jollyship the Whiz-Bang review? The Ars Nova lady says it's not showing up on her computers.
Just discovered that Shia LeBouf's character in the new Indiana Jones movie is named "Mutt", not "Mudd". I thought it was a "my name is mud" joke, with perhaps a bonus Star Trek reference. A little disappointed, but on the other hand that means both he and Indy are named for dogs, which is sort of cute.
Maybe a future installment of the series could be called "Mutt's Women". That is, if they decide to make the character heterosexual.
Someone on the phone just said I have a perky voice. I said "Thanks, I do what I can". He said, "I guess it goes with the territory". Really?
Work Swag today is The Year of Living Biblically, which I was sort of interested in, but not enough to purchase it (so, woo!), and Reading Lolita In Tehran.
I've noticed, since I got my iPod, my reading rate has dropped drastically. I'm listening to stuff on the train instead of reading.
Who has Prince Trevor postcards? I have Prince Trevor postcards. They just showed up at work this morning. Aside from having some of the wrong people listed, they're BEAUTIFUL. Gonna drop some off at the MITF offices on my way home for Judd to put in the press packets.

Benefit went swimmingly last night. I was pretty stressed about it, but it ended up being pretty smooth. Raised nearly $900! That'll certainly defray the costs of rehearsal space (which is usually the biggest expense).
Auction portion wasn't as successful as I hoped- most people just didn't bid. Cref was the big winner, getting the signed Coraline copy, the photo shoot with jayspec, and my mom's Dinner for Four (and Cref's wife is lately working in Philadelphia, so that might be super-convenient for everyone!).
Some people were sick (wonderpanther and Jess (who pulled a groin muscle). Some people just didn't show up. Some people showed up who I didn't even know!
Thanks to everyone who came out and helped and performed and donated and were awesome!
Going to see Bring Me The Head of John Ford tonight with Eric.
