Puerto Rican Pride Day is NOT the same day as the Tonys again this year. In the past I've made jokes about Poor Chita Rivera is gonna be Exhausted, but hooray for In The Heights folks!
Oh GEEZ, Staples was being difficult this afternoon. I did their new "print online" thing where you send your file to them through the internets, and then they print it out for you (I don't have color printer at work, and I wanted things to look fancy for the benefit). So I ordered it yesterday, saying I'd like it at 12 today (so it wouldn't be a rush job). I got there at 1:05, and they'd never even heard of my files. So I had to wait for nearly 45 minutes while they tried to figure out how to open my print job, and one of the files wouldn't open. Fortunately I had saved the file to my flash drive which I had in my pocket and they printed it from there.
A pain in the ass, but still WAY cheaper than Fedex/RapeYourWallet/Kinkos. Next time I'll know to call ahead and make sure they're working before I come.
Fortunately I had a large breakfast, so I don't need no lunch.
Elana mailed me a donation for the show since she can't make it to the benefit tonight. Sweet.
