House lightly toasted
Party was fun. A lot of the people who said they were coming couldn't make it. The poor posse of carasol, planga, and dry_2olives got lost in Brooklyn- they went to Elana's place before coming here (for safety), and were expecting a drive over, but Elana and David couldn't come, so they tried to take the bus and got super-lost and eventually just went home after lots of frustration.
The party was nice, though. jayspec, ceebeegee, glory453Tom, Henry, Henry, Amy, Jim Allen, Jason, Randy, and a bunch of Orion's friends all came (including some of his Romeo and Juliet cast, which includes Amanda from Measure for Measure- it was nice to see her again). There was lots of wii playing.
Amy was very impressed by my Alice in Wonderland stuff, and when I showed her my Alice Tarot Cards, glory453 asked me to read her cards for her.
glory453 wasn't feeling well, so she had to go lie down in the middle of the party. :(
We drank lots of sake.
Our landlady came by early in the evening, with a buttload of people we didn't know. The ladies never put down their purses, the men were amusingly drunk. They left after about 5 minutes, saying they had another party to go to, and said they'd be back.
I have SO MUCH BEAN DIP left over.
