Boys and the end of Sabotage

So I got my books in the mail yesterday, including "Mr. Radagast Makes an Unexpected Journey". I also got serious deja vu reading The Time Keeper, which has the most 1985 cover I've ever seen:

The last two shows of Sabotage went well. We had Aaron there, and he's delightful and adorable:

He's got a little chin scruff right now, too.

I happened to notice as he was changing (directly in front of the lighting booth) that he was wearing tight black briefs that left nothing to the imagination. ...and I have a great imagination. Hamana Hamana.

Before the show I was hanging out in the hallway when I saw Jonathan waiting for the elevator (he was getting ready to rehearse for Glory's Havel Festival show). He and I chatted for a while- he's such a sweetie, he let 3 elevators come and go before he had to get upstairs.

The two shows went well. Before the first one, I was talking with the cast, and mentioned my ban on sleeping with straight men- "It was a New Year's Resolution, so no straight men till January 1st. ...so, Aaron, mark your calendar". He and I got into a discussion of "straight" and what that means if you're fucking a guy, which was sadly cut short by the show beginning.

woodgywoo and Jess came to the second show. Jess hadn't shaved in a while and was all scruffy. HOT. They couldn't come out drinking after, but we're going to see each other at the Spotlight On awards on Sunday anyway.

Amanda, the lighting designer, came to the final show NO PRESSURE AT ALL. She seemed pleased with what I did. She's going to be at the awards, too, since she's nominated for the Avalon lighting design. She was excited to find out I was nominated for stuff, too.

My "Sausage Fest" shirt was a big hit with everyone.

Got paid- woo!

We all went out to The Door again, and ended up talking with Aaron a lot- he got a hookah, and I smoked some tobacco with him. He was shocked to discover that I'm a playwright. Hana also came over and joined us.
Amanda bought me a drink.
Aaron complained that his underwear was too tight. Hana and I stuck our hands in his elastic to verify that.

I left around 10:30, since Paul from Midsummer wanted to do karaoke, but I'd neglected to write down the address of the place, so I couldn't find it. So I went to Marie's Crisis.

Marie's was nice- Meredith had left her things on my usual stool, but had taken another, so she said I could just move her stuff. I sat next to Jason and Randy.
John McWhorter was there again, and when he saw I'd arrived, he excitedly asked Jim Allen to play "Duncan's Song!". So I did "Jacky", and another guy asked for "Carousel", so Jim Allen and I attempted that, but he didn't go nearly fast enough, which is the whole point of the song. I'll have to explain how it's done next time I see him.
Randy and Jason have discovered "On the 20th Century", so they're very excited about it right now. We did the opening number, then JA and I did "Our Private World".

Jason still calls Cast Albums "soundtracks", and Jim Allen kept hacking on him for it: "Well, since they didn't make a movie of that, maybe you should pick up the Cast Recording".

I left, ironically, after "I'm Telling You I'm Not Going".

Morrigan and James (who were outside smoking, as I left), said how happy they always are when I'm there. I'm Morrigan's favorite regular.
