GEMINI (May 21-June 20): When I was in Seattle recently, I was impressed with the extravagant requests of three seedy-looking homeless guys downtown. Their cardboard signs made it clear they wanted far more than the usual alms. "Need cash to buy fuel for my Lear jet," read one. "Girlfriend needs liposuction--please help defray costs" and "Desperately need new set of golf clubs for golf date with Donald Trump" said the other two. Draw inspiration from these cheeky fellows. Dream really, really big; ask for more than you've dared to before.
I E-mailed George Takei's Hosato Productions today. I said it was a follow-up to my snail mail submission of "Leave it to Sulu" from December of last year. I aso mentioned that "Leave it to Sulu" did well in the NYTVF, making it to the top 15 out of 500 submissions. Also congratulated him on his appearance on the Shatner Roast.
Staying late at work tonight. Don't think I'll go to Marie's- I've been there two days in a row this week. Might go for Jim Allen's happy hour shift on Thursday, if I don't go to hear Neil Gaiman speak (free!) at FIT (or if I don't get in).
So glad to be out of Jury Duty, but it is hot as balls at work today. I'm taking my tie off.
Going to State College to meet with my Aunt to work on the Rotary Show. I've got some ideas, but I'm not quite sure what kind of story they want me to tell. (obviously, pro-Rotary, but I mean in terms of plot and style).
