checking in...

The summer was rough.

I'd really like to find a new job/career (whatever). i do love the people and the pace and the food in restaurants, but I feel like I'm fast approaching 60 and I haven't even hit 40 yet.

Things have calmed down since and i've been able to do a bit of traveling. Went to Chicago to cache and see some friends and had a blast. Found my 7500th cache along that trip and also sprained my ankle really good. It's been over a week now and there's still some swelling. Having it checked out today.

A couple of days ago, myself and three caching friends flew down to Baltimore on amazingly cheap airfare for a day of caching, eating and drinking. We had a great time, got a few new states for my caching friends and stopped off at Clipper City Brewery. The owner of the brewery actually hung out with us and opened up a bottle of his own 3 year old barley wine! It was a very cool stop along our way. We also chowed down on crab balls, crab dip, and some kick ass honey bbq wings at G & M Restaurant. All in all an exhausting, but very fun day!

Time to get back into some kind of schedule for my life...

travel, beer, geocaching, life, food
