Everything was 50% off today at Goodwill, so I went and got a pair of Reeboks, a denim handbag and a dark brown polo shirt (shortsleeve). With tax about $11.50. Nice. I really really really needed the shoes and hope they work out.
Next door there is a new Habitat for Humanity store (in an old IGA store, thank goodnesss it is being used). Didn't get anything but it was interesting. It was full of household goods, probably donated, and books--just a few of those.
Thrilled about the shoes, I really needed them. The bag is cool too. The colors are kind of earthy, the thread is a clay red on the bag, but I guess that's what you get when you can't afford new!!!
I got my State ID finally, after so many years without, it will allow me to get a checking account, maybe apply for financial aid.
