Not to brag, but I make a really good Chili. It is absolutely delicious and everyone, except my oldest who doesn't eat beans, loves it.  I start by putting about one pound of washed kidney or pinto beans in water and letting them stand there over night. While I cook pretty well, I am not much of a baker.  Everything I bake comes out floppy, sticky, mushy, or just gross.  Surprisingly I haven't given up trying yet.  I have tried making my son's favorite cake, Napoleon, over and over again.  Each time I would use a different recipe and advice.  As usual, it came out too wet or too dry, burned, one ( Read more... )
