(no subject)
i suck at updating these days... according to lj it's been 6 weeks since i posted.. who knew?
work is finally beginning to slow down some and i'm trying to tie all the loose ends.
school is going okay, i missed last week because i was feeling like total crap, but i'm back this week and i have decided to try my best to do well this semester. my bio lab is so not as fun as i thought it was gonna be though. =/ total bummer, but oh well.
tomorrow is joe's and my 6 year anniversary. =] we had a wonderful weekend this past weekend. we went out on a date on friday night, had sushi, drinks and then a movie. saturday, we cleaned our house and amazingly enough we have managed to keep it clean. it's awesome! on sunday we just lounged around, watched tv and did some reading for school.
i am taking half the day off work on friday to go to a cabin in the mountains. it's the same cabin we went to last year and i'm excited to be able to be gay and have picnics and let the dogs roam and read and drink mimosas while soaking in the hot tub, etc. i'm really looking forward to it!
we are going to our last wedding of this year next weekend (on ivy's b-day). thank goodness that's the last one for now!!! i will be glad to be in my now clean home for more than two weekends in a row!
it's amazing how much of a difference a clean home makes. i know i sound ridiculous, but it's true. i've felt altogether better since i cleaned out my house. i love it.
i went to a wine festival with my friend jamie a few weekends ago and it was awesome! i'm thinking that i'd like to go to a few more during the fall. the idea of drinking wine outdoors while enjoying the wonderful fall breeze sounds very appealing to me.
