my mom is throwing me a little family get-together the weekend before my b-day. she even said that she'll drink a glass of champagne with me. WEIRD!!! i've seen my mom drink maybe twice in my lifetime and yes, she's a one beer (more like margarita) queer. i told her that i'm not planning on drinking much if at all, since my sister and baby brother will be around and i rather hang out with them and once they find out that i am spending the night i'm sure they will want to make sure that i stay up til wee hours of the night watching cartoons and videos with them, and i don't wanna be the drunken older sister. EW!
