My first Korean Friend
I have make my first korean friend today!! His name is Kim Hyun Wo from NUS. I have forgot which faculty he is in. How we met? Well, i was helping out in the Strategic building event and i saw this korean guy (the first look i know he is korean =D) walking in and wondering around when my event is having a tea break. He later came forward asking me where is the event business match-making with korean companies be held at. There are only 2 seminar rooms, the one behind me was locked cos is in used. I am like "duh", is behind you. He then, "OH"...then start to walk arounf again. After the break when everyone went back to the seminat room, i walk towards the window to enjoy the view of the whole of PSA from the 21st storey high building (i work in the 22nd storey ^^). Hyun wo suddenly came by and ask me this question, "You know where is sentosa island" and i was.."OH NO" i did not know where is sentosa island! I mean i didnt really know that i can actually see sentosa from my office!! So i said, "I am not sure" then i start looking around to see where the hell was sentosa. Then i saw this cable car thingy at the right side of the event hall and i immediately told him. He was happy to know that sentosa is near here (weird) then he asked me the second question which makes me feel so embarrassed, " Are you local?" DAMN IT, how can a singaporean like me not know where is sentosa? ARGH...
Then from there we chatted and know that he is a student here and he is from seoul. He will be the translator for his event and he knows how to speak chinese! OMG. So he knows how to speak and write 3 languages, Korean, Chinese and English quite fluently! SMART KID. Then we exchange numbers! hahaha...i am not going to write what we chatted on but was nothing interesting la. Will edit this entry soon =D
Hooray! i got one korean friend! wahahaha! Hope to make more korean friends!
