Frugal woman's stomach banding

At the beginning of this year, I could barely squeeze into a pair of size 18 (relaxed fit) jeans - but I did because ... well, when I was in collage, I watched my weight by the fit of my jeans. I knew that when my jeans were a bit too tight, it was time to eat less and walk more. And, of course, when my jeans were too tight, I couldn't eat as much anyway. So I wanted to see if I could do it again.

Today, I could barely squeeze into a pair of size 12 (classic fit) jeans (Lee's brand). I figure that these are probably the equivalent of a size 14 thirty years ago, which was the last time I remember being in a size 14. Even with the change in sizing of clothes, I think this is something to celebrate. And so I am. (but not by eating a special treat - there's no room)

(I should mention, perhaps, that I look like a sausage squeezed into these and that my top is very loose indeed to hide the "muffin-top" but hopefully, that'll change. It did with the size 14 (classic fit) Lee's.)
