Long ago when I was in school ...

... as a student that is, I would often get bored in class and start noodling in the margins. Now, while I'm writing, I will write notes to myself in the margins ... questions "Where is such and so?" or "need to change that in the earlier scene." That sort of thing.

Yesterday I became distracted when someone mentioned that Balach Dubh, the giant's child, is an incursion subject Type 614. I started wondering what other types there might be. This is what I came up with.

GIANT = 614
SIDHE = 519
VAMPIRE = 840 or maybe 734
GOBLIN = 608
GREMLIN = 683
BOGIE = 806
GHOST = 6O5 or a 748

Not that a ghost is exactly an incursion subject, I haven't exactly encountered one yet. And the vampire in question isn't a "I vant to drink your blud! Blah Blah Blah" type of vampire. I suspect that there actually are two different species - Baobhan sìdhe (Type 840) are more traditional violence and blood-drinkers. Lalaloxanna is more of a Leannan sìdhe (Type 734), aka "fairy sweetheart/ lover".

A visitor from the Nether realms would be a Type 934. I very very much doubt that the Special Response Unit would be called in to deal with a visitor from the Celestial realms, but such a one might be a Type 609.
