dialann - note cards
I love my new 'fairy artwork' notecards. They really are gorgeous - brilliantly coloured, drawn/painted by real artists... beautiful... but ....
They don't speak to me.
For some reason, a simple character sketch speaks to me more, I want to introduce the character; his/her story begins unfolding in my head, I find I can fill a whole card and more with the story. These ... have their stories already told, there doesn't seem to be anything for me to discover. OTOH, that does make them perfect for ordinary letter-writing, so I'm not really complaining.
I think I'm going to pull out my drawing pad and try some more sketches, though.
