quellefromage and I went to see Coraline (and eat popcorn with more oil than the Exxon Valdez). I really liked it. The animation was awesome, I adored the way little Coraline moved and her tiny hair clip and pointy nose, the sets/design were AMAZING. No, the mom isn't like that in the book.
Coraline actually has a mom she's WANT to come home to.
I haven't seen the movie yet. Gib, Spenc and I are going to see it for my birthday tomorrow!!
We are having a "day" Movie, junk food, soda pop, video games..... Wait a second why the HELL am I doing that crap on my birthday?!
