Clear Last Genius Cream BB SPF 30 PA+++

Mar 31, 2014 08:35

Quite a while ago, a friend whom I knew through instagram (I am KimokoMasada on instagram just in case you have not read my earlier posts) gave me this tube of Clear Last Genius Cream BB SPF 30 PA+++ which is BB Cream from Japan.

The shade she has given me is No. 2 Natural Ocher.

A moisturizing cream, treatment essence, primer, UV protector, foundation. All-in-one skincare & base makeup cream. Sounds like an amazing product for a lazy person to slap the daily essentials onto the face with 1 single product.

I am not sure where she got this from by the Chinese label and Sasa tag, I'm guessing either Hong Kong or Taiwan. Oh, I left out a picture of the bottom of the box where it states B&C Laboratories and that is retails for approximately 1,260 Japanese Yen for this 30g tube of BB Cream.

I'm not too sure if this BB Cream contains flowers, 10 flowers to be exact as printed on the packaging..

But the product does have a flora scent. I wanna say it is formulated with these 10 flowers unless someone tells me otherwise

The product is housed in a lightweight plastic squeeze tubes, typical of other BB Creams in the market.

It is a little dark on my skin huh?

Yup, it is a tad darker for me. I am usually the lighter shade if there are 2 shades of BB Creams. But it is not a whole lot of difference and so I can still work with it by buffing a layer of light shade of powder to help even out the shade.

Clear Last Genius Cream BB SPF 30 PA+++

Coverage: Medium
Texture: Creamy
Shade: No.2 Natural Ocher which fits someone between NC25-30
Undertone: Slightly greyish pink
Fragrance: Flora scent
Oil-Control: 5 hours
Finish: Dewy finish
Other Comments: This isn't the best BB Cream that I have tried. Not even close. Coverage was average, texture is pretty easy to blend, the flora scent is soothing but oil control wise, it definitely needs more help as you will start noticing shine in approximately 5 hours or under if you have oily skin. And because of that, it definitely did not stay on my face the entire day as the oil started breaking down the product and it was definitely melting off my face. If I have normal - combination skin, I will probably like this product as it is pretty easy to blend and it has all the required skincare properties and coverage with a decent SPF too. But for those with oilier skins, you might not enjoy it. I will not use it to work especially on longer working days but it is a pretty decent BB Cream for the weekends that I am not out the entire day. It is not entirely a horrible product but I am not crazy about it and wouldn't recommend you to run out to hunt this down, especially since it is not available in Singapore.
