I am sensitive to Marine Collagen because I am allergic to Shell-Fish so I gladly took up this sponsorship since it contains Fish Collagen.

I had thought I would enjoy Blueberry or Mango but it turned out that my favourite flavour is Lemon! It is a slight citrus taste! The blueberry powder is a slightly tinted in a pale purplish blue while the other 2 dissolves to a clear liquid. The flavour is not overpowering so it is pretty easy to take it as a morning drink.
Unfortunately, before I could notice any difference to my skin, on the 3rd day of drinking the collagen, the area on my nose was breaking out a little and by the end of the week..
It was red, itchy and my skin started to flake. The very next day, half of my nose was even swollen! I have not changed my skin care regime and the only product I have added to it was this collagen drink.
I immediately tried to flush it out by drowning myself with plain water and stopped taking it immediately. It has been a few days since I stopped the drink and it is getting better, at least the swelling has subsided. -sigh-
In the ingredient list, it states Fish Collagen but does not state the type of fish so I have a hunch it might contain some shell-fish that caused the adverse allergic reaction. Fortunately, it was only my nose and not the entire face! I have terrible luck with collagen products! -sigh-
