Amber came over to play

My elder sister brought Amber home after her ballet lesson yesterday and we had fun the entire afternoon!

Cousin-in-law Marc dropped them off at our place while he and Cousin Megan took their younger daughter, Cadence, to the docs.

she was getting bored with the cartoons on the telly when she suggested going to the playground.

since she had her ballet leotard, i suggested swimming instead. she gave that weird look but once she saw me dragging out the 'pool', she was so excited that she refused to get outta the water an hour later.

my elder sister bought this 'pool' quite some time ago for sun-tanning purposes in the garden in which she obviously did not get around to do so. Amber was the first to 'swim' in it!

isn't she a doll?

she had so much fun that she forgot her Mommy for a while...

Daddy wanted to build a kidney-shaped pool for us more than 12 years ago but because we were by the main road (very extremely dusty) and have a block of HDB just across the road which had an excellent view of our garden, my parents gave up the idea. this is the closest we can ever get to realize our dream of having a pool in our garden.

Mommy (mine) joined in the fun and played with her thinking it was her very own grand-child. -roll eyes-

she had so much fun jumping, hopping and even dancing in the water

she was having so much fun that she refused to take an afternoon nap. by the time her parents came over to pick her up, she's so worn out that she began to be a wee bit cranky. Cousin Megan texted us later that she was so worn out that she fell soundly asleep for the entire evening.

Now I'm gonna bring Baby Emma for a dip in my 'pool'! N-Koh Mommy! Can I borrow your daughter for a day? Pack her bikini along too!
