In the blink of an eye...
It is strange how fast things can change. Well, most people in the human word know this, I just feel that I get so wrapped up in my plans for the future sometimes that straying from them...even a little bit, will cause a lot of problems. Luckily I am now broken of this habit. To make a long story short (literally, I typed it all out, realized that it was too long, and chose to summarize) I'm now going to be interning in the creative services department at Heidelberg in the fall. They make printing presses and have a really cool facility in Kennesaw, GA (of all places). It's close to home, they provide actual housing, and I'll still be able to visit Clemson. It sounds like fun.
Other stuff that's been going on:
Spring break in Chicago was amazing. I am moving there after graduation. It has art, It has theatre, It has a possibility of grad school (Northwestern), It has graphics jobs, It has a public transportation system that is above ground, It has H&M, It has my great aunt and uncle who are some of the coolest people ever, It has the field museum, amazing architecture, people with cool accents, a ten story library, coffee shops, 24 hour starbucks, improv, galleries.....in other words, everything I could ever want in one city. AND it's less expensive than NYC.
Have been rehersing endlessly for Sincerely. Things are coming along well and I am excited that we were able to create an actual play out of these letters. Now all I have to do is learn. my. freaking. lines.

Tonight is the cast party for Vagina Monologues. The theme is, 'Deep down I wish I were..."
I think that deep down I wish I were Elizabeth Bennet.....is that cliche? I hope not.
Other possibilities include:
Deep down I wish I were T.S. Eliot's wife
Deep down I wish I were less high strung
Deep down I wish I were Tina Fey (because she's awesome)
Deep down I wish I were still taking English classes
Deep down I wish I were laying on a beach in Greece.
